extremely slow airport extreme

im close to pulling my hair out!!!!

i updated my AEBS n to the new firmware, and it stopped working completely! just wasnt showing up in airport utility. so i did a hard reset and put it back to 7.4.1. now i am having an intermitent problem with the signal strength...

basically ill get full speed sometimes them sometimes it'll go off air, either hang the connection,not load the page at all or completely disappear from my task bar.

just wondering if anyone has got this issue, or has any advice to resolve it.

You may be getting interference. How do you have the AEBS configured?

Its a bug or something with that firmware version. Do a google search, a lot of people have issues with 7.4.1, just downgrade to the previous firmware and all shall be fixed

or upgrade to 7.4.2, I have had no issues with 7.4.2 runs fine, sounds like interference, I had some perfornance issues with my G network, so I moved all the N on one 2.4ghz network, and created a G for the older devices on a different network, and my server runs on its own 5ghz N network, then ethernet to the G and other N though.

But 7.4.2 drops the connection to USB drives at least it does for me and many other people. Soooo ive had issues with 7.4.1 and 7.4.2, apple should try to make sure the next one works good

7.4.2 is the best on I've used. No USB problems here.
