iPhone 11 Pro Eye strain with new iPhone 11 Pro / 11 Pro Max vs. X/Xs

Yes, same back of eye ache I experienced with XS max and X. ☹️
Currently testing driving the 11. No issues with LCD. Just not a fan of the narrower design compared to my 7 plus. I feel like I'm settling for the 11 when I want the Pro Max. I want the larger display, bigger battery, richer speakers and frosted glass.

You echo my thoughts exactly. People can preach about the areas of the 11 that are better than my 8 Plus all day long but in the end, the areas my 8 Plus excels are the places that matter to me. It’s Pro Max or bust for me and sadly it’ll be busy. The pwm killed my eyes last night.
this will never be fix....Hopefully apple does not stop using LCD on their phones.

Ok, on day 2 of using the 11 Pro and it seems the usual symptoms for me are kicking in. Eye strain/fatigue with a slight headache, fuzziness when reading text and having to blink a few times to refocus. It seems I’ll need to return this and move to the 11. I don’t know why I thought I could use an OLED screen, but I wanted to try to see if Apple did anything different this year.
It's a damn shame. The sad part is I feel like I'm settling for the 11 which in turn makes me question the "upgrade" all together.
Had to return my 11 Pro. Lasted two days with it, headaches both days. Bought the 11 but not happy about it. Might be my last Iphone purchase.
I returned the 11 Pro for the 11 after two days of using the 11 Pro as well. So far no issues with the screen but I’m not happy with the size of the 11. Apple really needs a smaller version of the 11. I’m hoping that I’ll get used to this though.
The small 11 would be a burner!

in China they will not use iPhones because they have their own brands (and 5G)

It's weird with the PWM, NBC said it was higher at 290 hz however that review says that the frequency is irregular and ranges between 60 and 290.7 hz, also the NBC review for the pro max says 245 hz pwm and the regular pro says 290.7 hz, So very strange and inconsistent, links down below:
