It comes with a remote, the DDT stick doesnt.

But the new software works with the Apple remote :)

Got mine last night and it all seemed to work really well. You do though need to have good reception with the stick (roof aerial) and do the longer finer search to get all the channels.

Now,has anyone figured out how you get out of fullscreen mode back to your desktop?

I bought the EyeTV for DTT Stick and wish I hadn't bothered. The software is fantastic but the hardware just doesn't work. Mine has detected all the same channels as my other Freeview boxes but none of them are watchable. They all appear blocky and keep freezing and breaking up. It's reporting my signal strength as 35% but all my Freeview/TVs report 100.
I tried my son's Miglia TVMini and that works absolutely perfectly. 100% signal strength, perfect reception. I then tried the DTT Stick at his house and got exactly the same problem, signal strength 35%, no watchable channels.
Elgato's response to my reporting the device as faulty is to tell me I can't compare the two devices like for like since they don't use the same scale and to give me a link to the new test build of the EyeTV software to see if that helps. Maybe it's just me but 35% to a 100% with the same software strikes me as a bit odd. I've asked them where I stand if the new build doesn't resolve the problem (which I'm pretty sure will be the case) and I'm currently waiting for a response.
The moral of this is, if you're wondering which to buy between the Miglia TVMini and the EyeTV for DTT Stick, get the Miglia.

.

Mine works great with a BIG aerial on the roof.

Which kind of gives credence to my theory that I have a dud. I'm using mine with a huge roof aerial after forking out 60 quid to get an aerial lead installed in my study, and the TVMini works fantastically well, so the aerial and reception are fine. I can't fault the speed of Elgato's response, but they really don't seem to be hurrying over my question of what do I do if it still doesn't work with their new beta build. Considering the EyeTV Stick is more expensive and doesn't come with a remote, I'm not impressed.
