I'm looking at the eye tv hybrid and was wondering a few things. I would be running the TV from my mac to my 1680x1050 monitor. Can I zoom in full screen while watching TV? Will this show a large decrease in quality?

Do you mean can you show tv full screen? Yes you can and I run the slightly older rebadged Terratec Cinergy T2 at the same resolution and with digital free to air its a perfect picture.

The Eye TV Hybrid will display your HDTV signal at its native resolution to a max of 1080. We have one channel that is 1080 and it looks great. All the others are 720 or 480 - and they look great, too. My setup is in my sig, if you're interested.
