On the Mac Elgato EyeTV 3 works great with many different satellite Ip servers . I use a stationary one Triaxx TSS 400. Works fine. On the Apple Tv 4 there are times only one satellite Ip client App. TV Pro SAT > IP " from tizi . it works. but has no sorting stations . And the switching times are not fast . Hope Elgato comes soon the appropriate app for ATV. or you cant get a self making m3u list. Than you can playing this stations with any of the handfull ATV4 "IPTV" Apps from Store.

I hear LivezApp works works a treat. Record, view recording, view guide etc. The whole encilada.

Correct. It allows you to watch live TV with your :apple:TV.

Does it work with the cable version of the Eye TV?

They aren't specific as to if it's for the Digital Antenna version, or cable version, but several software engineers from EyeTV are actively following this app.

I really like the EyeTV Software but since they do not support the HDHomeRun Prime (CableCard) I can't use it. Maybe the "software engineers from EyeTV" would consider supporting the Prime now?

Was looking on the Elgato website and it seems they have several apps that allow EyeTV to work with Sat TV. Might be worth a look.

An update to LiveZapp. It is hard to set up (they're asking for the EyeTV server IP) and their tech support (livezapp) is non-existent so it will take a bit of time to get it up and running. Once I do get it working I'll post here how to do it for those interested...
 
LiveZapp App seems ok, but a running mac with eyeTv + External Sat / Cable or other Tuners is requiered.
Need a App that connect direct to the Sat Ip Server. Hope Elgato does his homework with an app for Apple tv.
The only Sat Ip App "Tv Pro Sat Ip" from tizi is cumbersome to use. No Zapping no Sort. Hope for an Update soon.
