eyeTV annoyance

It is kind of annoying when I am recording something in eyetv and I decide I want to start watching it half way through the recording, when the recording is finished it will cut me off where I was watching it...

I have to go back and find the recording in eyetv and find where I was in the show again.

Is there any fix for this?
