No problem, yeah I'm in a similar boat. It's a hobby, I find it fun. Have a couple rooms to distribute content too. I was able to drop a few fios boxes because I'm using xboxes that are already in the rooms as media center extenders with WMC because I couldn't get everything I wanted to do from the Mac for cablecard.

Any thoughts on using a TIVO? I believe they have software to move it from the TIVO to your mac
