Ez7z Error

When I unzip some rar files I get this message:

Can’t make word 2 of "" into type string. (-1700)

I can't find anything online that helps, any ideas about what's causing this or how to fix it?

What application in what exact version do you use on what Mac OS X version to "unrar" (unpack) your RAR files?

Have you tried The Unarchiver yet?

The application was in my title, using Ez7z, it's version1.861. I'll check out The Unarchiver too!
