f-# keys

just got my mbp yesterday and loving it so far. but one thing that bugs me the f-keys. i use the keys alot in certain games and it is hard to play w/o it. anyway to disable it when you are in certain games?

System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard > Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys.
