Bigger Sensor Too...

I think the larger sensor is the most surprising thing to me (when most everything else is trying to get smaller). Bigger sensor equals better light sensitivity, which generally equals better quality pictures with less susceptibility to camera shake issues.

I'm looking forward to the upgrade from a 4S. Overall the photo quality has continued to improve to the point that I no longer worry about having to have a pocket camera with me.

Now if they could just add a slide on polarizer, I would be in heaven!

Its not a lot, but a 20% increase is nothing to laugh at either. You should expect to see better results in the evening and dim indoor shots, but not in the dark where theres not much you can do with a quarter stop.

Likewise the DOF will be just slightly smaller with the aperture wide open.

I also noticed that they decreased the pixel density with should help a bit; now i'm just waiting for the 5MP version.
