Don't know if this will be an issue, or if his drop was just unlucky. But Face ID not working after a drop, when the exterior still held up, might be an issue Apple has to deal with. You iPhone X owners should be extra careful.

In the middle of several books.
Should be able to still use the passcode.

"I didn't want to make the video..." He is so full of crap. He is all about video views and pulling in his revenue. As soon as I saw it was him, I stopped the video.

What do you expect when you toss electronics on concrete over and over and over exactly?

It took QUITE a few big drops to do that, and the glass didnt even shatter. Id call that impressive.

Well we don't when when it occurred. Could have been after the first or last drop.

I'm just throwing out the possibly of an issue.

iPhone X users WILL complain, if their phone is still in great external condition, but Face ID doesn't work. We all know how consumers get.

Apple can easily deny an exchange if the glass and/or display is cracked. But if there is a tiny scuff, would Apple say no to an exchange based on Face ID?
