Does anyone know if the sensors and cameras will be more sturdy and less prone to failures? I went through 4 iPhone X all of which have had some part of the Face ID/camera system fail thus requiring a replacement.

If FOUR of the iPhone X failed, it may not be the iPhone.

And it doesn't sound like any extra sturdiness will help you.

I am going to agree with you here.

Seems more like user error… because otherwise that is an extraordinary run of bad luck.

Must be bad luck. I am extremely careful with my phones. I've had all of them in an otterbox symmetry case, have never dropped them or exposed them to any sort of physical damange.

Well in that case, commiserations. Are you now on your fifth? Or given up on them?
