Facebook 3.2 & iPhone 4's running 4.X

To do it through iTunes, you have to be sure you didnt update it there or sync your iPhone with the new version of FB.

If you havent done either, delete it from your iPhone (press & hold the FB icon) and then sync it with iTunes. Once its done, under your iPhone, go to the Apps tab, and Facebook should be unchecked, re-check it.

Since you didnt update it on iTunes, it still has the old version.

Mine runs fine, but I don't have biteSMS installed. However, the "Nearby Places" thing isn't working for me very well. I tap the icon on the Facebook home screen that is to the right of the status update text box, and it shows some points of interest that are nearby. Half a second later, though, they disappear and are replaced with "No Nearby Places: Press + to add one." This seems to be a recurring bug in this app. For example, sometimes I'll click on a photo that supposedly has 5 comments, but when it loads it says "No Comments."

I do not have biteSMS but I do have a jailbroke iPhone 4 with firmware 4.0.1. I get the same error "Unable to connect to Facebook. Please try again later." I have deleted facebook, rebooted, and reinstalled. I have also turned off Tlert, just in case, and deleted facebook, rebooted, and reinstalled. Still not working. Any ideas?

4.0.1 w/ bite sms and i was getting the errors.

Removed bitesms, re-downloaded fb from itunes, works fine. I need my FB over Bite, will try to download bite again later. Places thing is pretty cool.

The issue lays with extensions or preference files, not BiteSMS itself. Therefore, it's not required to have BiteSMS - this issue is probably being brought about as a product of other apps/preferences.

They almost HAD to with all the complaints under the review section for the app in the app store. The day the update was released facebook went from four stars down to 2.5, lol. The poll in this thread shows it is a problem too; 60+% of people are experiencing issues.

iOS 4.0.1, FaceBook 3.2.1, never installed bytesms, still have hitches where news feed jumps around and comments won't reload or how's different thing depending how you access it.
The stupid location thing doesn't even work here yet! :/

I hope they put that in the patch notes and not just bug fix. -Bug Fix for jailbroken devices would be nice.

Well that doesn't seem to work for everyone. Removing Bite is the only thing that fixes it so far for me.

EDIT: LOL damn it's late. Got the fix working, need to pay more attention when renaming.
