To make yourself truly happy, trade your iMac in for a chrome book.
That you are willing to use a legacy iMac shows your real opinion.
No idea know what you're trying to say. Using my workhorse iMac shows I have a real opinion?

Or you meant if I use a Mac then I shouldn't criticize apple?

Um.. ok 👍👍👍👍👍

Um... WOW.

The Apple toll booth continues. This is why I don't use any of this damned apple fruit company services.

Typing this from an Android phone that I have full access to my directory to. While working on a legacy 27-inch iMac. Shudder!
Imagine standing outside of a Basketball stadium telling everybody entering that you don't like Basketball.

As a crazy Apple fan, and writing this from a MacBook Pro 14’, I have to stand with Facebook this time because I run ads for my small business and I don’t want to pay more just because I am using an Apple machine.

You may need to re-read the article, because Apple is not changing the rules here, it has been the rule for absolutely everybody else for years.

What Meta are trying to do is rebrand an IAP for an additional service by calling it something else. IAP has a fee on iOS for absolutely everybody.

Why should Meta be the exception that gets a cut on it?

Now, if you argue that this Apple rule itself (that has existed for everyone for years) is a monopoly abuse, I totally agree. But there is no reason a huge company like Meta should get to avoid this.

Meta are not noble or good in any way here.

if facebook is complaining about something, the other party is doing something right
The more Facebook and FBI complains the better it is for Apple and their customers :) Please Apple release a Whatsapp replacement for iPhone and Android and end the evil empire!

Its also interesting to see that FB makes no move into direction of being honest about things. Quite the opposite - illegally tracking user inputs in In-App Safari ... how crazy can you be Zuckerberg?? Then trying to reframe what Apple says and does in a very cheap way. Time to short everything Zuckerberg.
