iPhone Facebook App Blank

Is anyone getting the below screen randomly from the facebook app? I'm on an iPhone 6 running iOs 8.1.3 with the latest version of facebook. The only resolution I can find is to uninstall and reinstall the app.

I get that as its loading info, for like 2 seconds. That's it though. Doesn't remain. I'm on 8.1.3 also.

Mine does this now and then. I just close it from the app switcher and load it again and generally it loads fine. To be honest for what it is the Facebook app is pretty poor!

why do people still use the app? I go on facebook through Safari and its way better... I never lost my chat/messaging option either...
