One of the bugs I see is that when I post a pic it rarely shows up on my 4S. I double check it through the mobile app and it's there but rarely does it work correctly on the app itself. Notifications also arent working properly. Seriously, this has been an issue for months....with all of the awesome apps being made cant something like this be fixed pretty quickly?

I also sometimes have problems with the facebook application as well. Py when I'm on a data connection though; never on wifi. At times, no information will load for either the news feed not pictures.

Weird, but not that drastic as I hardly use the application anyway.

Possible solution?

Hey guys I have found if you go into your IPhone settings and select the Facebook app, then turn off all push notifications. It has improved the Facebook apps speed a lot! It not perfect, but a lot better.

My app also sucks for my iPhone 4 and my gf's evo 4g.
My lumia does have the "people" app tho which is pretty much instant and combines all the social bs.

I could never understand why such a popular app was sooooo crappy. And after the last update tapatalk is a very close second. Seems like every iOS app I use will work perfectly and then get an update that causes constant crashing and just an overall lousy experience.

I love it when an app takes up to two minutes to refresh - even when connected to wifi.

Poorly written bloated piece of junk.

This. The Facebook app is garbage. I just use the mobile browser version.
Yup. Agreed. I have the app version for iOS, Android, & WP, and they all suck! I get constant crashes on the iOS version even though it probably is the best of the three. I really miss my Windows Phone because of that Peoples tile. Never had to always open a separate app to check all my social media feeds.

I think one of the reason the Facebook app is so slow at loading updates is cause facebook is trying to integrate all their mobile apps and having trouble loading all your data to Facebook servers to sell information for targeted ads.

Gotta be that reason cause the mobile web is already as no issues cause its already web based. And the Facebook app is trying to look like an app but in essence a hybridep app/web based and links first go to Facebook for information gathering than finally opens up.

Facebook is trying to generate as much money via advertising as google does.

If your phone is jailbroken, then you can delete all contents of cache at /var/mobile/Applications/<facebook>/Library/Caches/. You can use ifile for this.
