Still here.
Are there seriously no "Facebook is down" threads going on right now? I searched all over, but that's failed me in the past.

Well, it seems they are having network-related issues, and I was wondering if you all knew more about it?

And since there's a slight chance this may be the first thread about it, I'm shamelessly going to plug my own little blog post about it (which will be updated if I hear anything about it other than "network issues").

as big as facebook is, i don't understand why there are so many issues. beyond that, the web interface seems really cheesy and the iphone app is glitchy.

That’s just a comprehensive list of security issues and other things that Facebook has.

I have my own reasons for hating facebook.
 
FaceBook is one of the most useful websites around today. So useful, so easy, i don't see what's wrong?
 
I live in LA......it's been down for quite a while.....


I check my facebook everyday!!!!!! lol


(I'm a college student and I just need social networking during class!:p)
 
The only thing I use Facebook for is uploading photos from my phone. I used Flickr first, but after 200 images they wanted my money.

I don't know what the limit is for uploading photos to Facebook but I haven't hit it yet! :)

FaceBook can be useful and it has definitely interesting aspects (I actually do have an account that I check on every now and then) but I fundamentally dislike the way it's promoting self-absorbed-ness and the way its staunch users seem to have completely lost the sense of privacy.
And despite his spectacular $ 100m charitable donation, I think Zuckenberg zucks.

Anyway, I hear from a reliable source that Facebook was down because they switched the servers off due to the cache system was showing the wrong value.
 
I am starting to dislike Facebook altogether.

I got some invite to a group to vote for some stupid kids video submission for the Kid Cudi contest. But every time I click, it just stays there! I have clicked ignore around 50 times!
