Facebook Messenger for iPhone Problem

Hi all,
I am using this new fb messenger app since its release and noticed it fails sometimes in notifying when I someone send me a message in fb.
Its very awkward, because its almost it suddenly stops pushing the server and sometimes I just notice that I have messages when I open and refresh the app for myself.
Anyone noticing it ?

Works fine for me. Try deleting and reinstalling the app?

I get this occasionally too. It drives me crazy.

I haven't run into any problems with it. As an above poster suggested, try deleting the app and reinstalling it.
