Facebook Messenger Gains iOS 10 CallKit Support in Latest Update

I use Google Hangouts with my Google Voice number, it'd be great if Google updated Hangouts to work with CallKit like this. Its such a pain to answer a Google Hangouts call, you get this little notification on the lock screen, have to press it, then the lock screen comes up and have to enter a 6 digit unlock code, just to get into the Hangouts app, by then the call has usually gone to voicemail.

I feel you! Also waiting for an updated to Hangouts... Hope it comes soon enough!!

Mine works just fine on the 6S+ (sorry I know that does not help you 100%)

Just got my friend to test call me and it worked a charm. He is using a Samsung as far as I know so it works cross platform.

Can you also call them back from the phone application or the contacts? That part did not work for me.

It's only for receiving calls currently, Facebook have not done the full job yet

Does not work on 6s here. I've tried deleting and reinstalling app and looking everywhere for a setting to activate. Just another broken FB feature. *sigh*

Or perhaps one that somehow is on some rollout type of schedule that is often used for various Facebook type of features.

Possibly, but we really have no idea since their release notes are boilerplate as usual.

Yeah, unfortunately that's the case (and might even be the case at least partially because of these types of staggered or limited roll outs of different features and designs).

Not sure, my contact list cleared with the new iOS update.
