Facebook notifications on iPhone 5 not working

Is anyone else having trouble not getting their Facebook notifications this evening on their iphone 5? It was working fine this morning. I tried restarting the phone and uninstalling and reinstalling Facebook but still not working.

Yes, it's a common issue with Facebook on iOS 6. There is no fix for this.

So it just works and then stops working for no apparent reason? I never had this problem on my iPhone 4S which had 6.0

FB notifications haven't worked properly since they first introduced the app.

I have a 4s and every since I went iOS 6 they have never worked right.

My wife's 4s is still on iOS 5.1.1 and notifications work perfectly.
