iPod touch Facebook Notifications?

My friend gets on my iPod Touch and checks this Facebook using the Facebook App, he signs out when he is done. When I wake up my iPod Touch, there will be a notification saying someone accepted his friend invite. Why am I still getting his notifications after he is signed out?

Does it do this even if you've signed back in under your account?
