I’m sure as FB’s team was working to deal with these new restrictions in iOS13, there was another team down the hall coming up with new ways to harvest personal data.

Absolutely. I still can't believe that Facebook used phone numbers entered for two factor authentication for advertising purposes.

They download you entire contact book, call history, location history, text messages and emails on Android (and would not be surprised if it comes out they look through your camera roll too) so no surprise there.
 
After installing the iOS 13 beta, I noticed popups asking for Bluetooth usage. So many apps want Bluetooth usage (and never explain why so they always get a No from me). On iOS 12, they're just granted it.

After the beta they're going to have to provide a description string as to why they need it.
So true. I have apps asking me that they need Bluetooth usage, even though I would have never figured out or associated that it was even necessary. I’m grateful that Apple is cracking down on these types of apps.
