    Facebook push notifications aren't working.

Safari isn't asking me to allow/deny push notifications via Facebook. Is there any way I can push this forward so they work?

It worked fine before on Mavericks.

I don't get any notifications from FB anymore. Any insight as to how to get them back?

Mine stopped earlier this year. Even upgrading to Yosemite didn't bring them back.

    Just out of interest,

isn't this horribly time consuming? I mean, whats the advantage of having these notifications?

I appreciate not having to find my phone anytime I get a notification?

BTW, I thought Facebook notifications didn't work through Safari but through setting up the account in the system preferences > accounts. I don't recall ever getting the Safari prompt to enable notifications.

Either way, they don't seem to work anymore. :(
