iOS Facebook SDK in the Simulator?

Has anyone got facebook sign-in working in the simulator?

Any gems of wisdom to share, before I spend the weekend working on this one

FB Connect on simulator

I have not had to do anything special to have FB connect log on & work fine on simulator. I got the demo app working with the id's I created for my app & transferred it all into the real app. Just works out the box.

What goes wrong for you?

Do you have an app that does not run in background - with the flag set in info.plist?

Wow! It is as easy as pie! I was expecting this to be a real pain

Only thing worth noting so far is that the fb app id is a string so @"123456" in code and it gains a prefix of fb in the property list so fb123456

I guess this was not so easy in the early days of iOS coding?

Also, be aware that if you run on a device and the user has the Facebook app installed, you may run into issues with the authorization (after the first successful login). I've had this issue. even with the correct bundle ID. Here's a related Stack Overflow thread:
