Facebook/Twitter Messages in Notification center?

Twitter messages (DMs, mentions) appear in notification centre, not timeline. I assume the same is true for FB notifications (messages, tagging etc.)

I tried out Facebook, there doesn't seem to be notifications in it. Just the posting of status updates.

Same here as well, I can only post from the notification center like Twitter.

You can get at-reply and DM notifications for Twitter in Notification Center, but it's through the system not the Twitter app. Presumably (hopefully) the Twitter app will be updated to support notifications so clicking on them will open the app and not Twitter.com

I hope so too. It's counterintuitive, in my opinion, to have the website open when you have the Twitter app installed.
