Facebook Updates Messaging App with 15-Second Videos, 'Big Likes'

Whenever I remove Messenger and click on messages in the Facebook app, it gives me this popup saying something like messages have been moved and makes me download the Messenger app. Pretty much everyone I know with an iPhone has this issue.

Huh. I never have that problem, but I never had the Messanger app installed. Interesting. I'll be sure to never download that app.

That section will become read only as they are rolling out the forced separation of messages. You may not see the point, but eventually you will not have the option.

Not if you are one of the lucky countries where Facebook has disabled messaging in the main app. It is rolling out to everyone eventually.

At some point you will have to if you want to use FB messaging. Once the rollout is complete, it will be the only way to message from mobile.

I would like audible notifications... just not the super annoying ones that FB messenger has. Stupid little clickety-cloppity noises when someone is typing is the major one that makes me go retarded.

See I can't even type properly just thinking about it.

Surely I'm not the only one who wants to find that bastard zuckerberg and murder his entire family line over this.

It's 2014... let me choose which f%#@in' sounds I want.
 
A shame about how FB steals all your data . . . Every little thing FB does makes me use it less and less.

You may be startled to know that MacRumors is advertising exactly what I have sitting in my basket at B@H. Well, when it's not advertising what I just bought on eBay obviously.
