FaceID Benefit

Has anybody mentioned a cold weather benefit of FaceID over TouchID? This means I can unlock my phone while wearing winter gloves. yay!

But after looking at the phone don't you have to swipe up to get to the home screen... you will still need to remove your gloves.

I don't even know what cold is anymore 😉 . But doesn't the touch screen still kind of suck using gloves?

I have a 13 digit alphanumeric passcode (because I have TouchID, why not?). I would prefer to use FaceID over having to type that in every time with gloves on. 🙂

But there are gloves that will interact with the iPhone screen but they don't pass your fingerprints through to TouchID.
