It doesn't work with my RayBan aviator sunglasses either. So much for "many sunglasses."![]()
Does it work with attention off? I’m interested if they actually need your eyes or only need them when checking for attention.
I’m having the same exact experience with the same exact sunglasses. While it’s not ideal. It hasn’t gotten to the point of annoying for me. But it is strange how other (sun)glasses polarized or not work. It seems just to be the Wayfarers for me.
I have the exact same sunglasses. Easy fix -- turn off "require attention for face ID" in faceID & passcode settings. Don't see the point of that setting anyway (unless you are a kid in a dorm or something). Now faceid works with my sunglasses on (before it wouldn't).
That really is a weird setting.
It's meant for paranoid people that think other people will 1. pick up their phone while they are sleeping; and 2. point it at your sleeping face to unlock (Don't know where these people live that such could be happening -- maybe college dorm hijinks. That's about it. Or a suspicious wife?
I'm not that heavy a sleeper and if someone is holding a phone near me and creeping around, I'll wake up anyway.
Awesome. Thanks! Excellent point, it’s not necessary for my useI have the exact same sunglasses. Easy fix -- turn off "require attention for face ID" in faceID & passcode settings.
