Faceid issues after 18.2

After going to 18.2 yesterday, my faceid isn’t working at all for any if my apps or settings. Anyone else have this issue?
 
Another thought, before resetting Face ID, have you checked the apps and made sure they are set (or still set) to use Face ID? If they are set, then maybe try toggling and see if situation changes. If that does not work, then test with one of the apps by deleting the app and reinstalling. If that corrects the issue for that app, then it would seem the solution is to repeat for the other apps.

If Face ID is working so far as unlocking the device, my thought is the problem is likely more with the app than with the device.
 
Is Face ID still unlocking the phone? I don't use Face ID to lock any apps - but I haven't seen any issues with iOS 18.2 (iPhone 12 Pro)
 
I noticed after playing some games like Honkai Star Rail, the face id got slow, 1-2 sec to authenticate. Restarting the phone fixes it but as long as you open the game again the problem repeats.

I've noticed changes since 18.2 as well. It still works but as Envykeke said, it is slower and sometimes require me to deliberately look directly into the camera. Before, I could just be looking in the general direction of the screen and it would work. Now, it seems to require my eyes to point directly at the camera sometimes (notice it with my banking apps a lot).

I was able to reset yesterday and it is working now after a few attempts

Yes, I checked with other games I have (no other Hoyo game though) and it's only with HSR.

I managed to "fix" it by turning off game mode for the HSR. And after rebooting and launching the HSR without Game Mode on, it's now perfectly fine. Will send a support request to the HSR team.
