Look at 0:45 into the video, he puts on sunglasses and unlocks the phone with them on. Very happy to see that.

That’s been known since the day after the keynote. I don’t know why people kept saying it wouldn’t.

(I am not saying you shouldn’t have posted the video, I’m just frustrated that the misinformation kept getting traction.)

I wasnt aware with sunglasses. I knew reading glasses would work, but wasnt sure if sunglasses would. It was just nice to see an actual demo of it.

During the keynote it showed it will pretty much work with any and all facial changes, as long as it is the owner of the device saved in the FaceID

It will be pretty cool to see what Face ID can do! I can't wait to have the iPhone X in my hands Friday morning!!

Doesn't work with any of the Raybans I've tried...

If your eyes are completely obscured, you'll need to disable Attention under Settings >> General >> FaceID (that specifically requires the scanners to be able to see your eyes, disabled, and it works with Oakleys with completely opaque/reflective lenses).

I had good success at first, but then a couple times where it didn't work, and then it did. So mixed results for me so far with Ray-Bay Aviators.
