This app is just giving 3GS users to facetime

Because it's hard to resell the iPhone 3G for 200 and get an iPhone 4 with an upgrade right?
Stop this, there is no need for this ignorant attitude.
Not having the money to throw towards a new phone is a perfectly legitimate reason to keep a 3G and not buy the iPhone 4. Please stop.

Facetime on a 3G would be a joke IMO. 1st you dont have a front facing camera so you will see them and they will see your feet. 2nd the device is slower than a turtle, 3rd its upload speed is terrible.
You cant make up what the i4 has to offer with software hacks period.
Fine, wrong choice of words, sorry. We should thank the dev for giving us options though, not say his app is pointless, because someone may want it. I feel that monetary issues should not be talked about in a thread about an app, especially a free app. When No ice please said that he could not afford a phone every year, that should have been the end of it. He knows weather or not he can afford it so its his issue and nobody elses.
Tested it on 3G network, not perfect but pretty good quality, WIFI is better of course...
I tried it w/ WIFI & 3G connection to my Macbook & an iPhone 4 and both worked so the problem is yours not the app....Doesnt work with Mac facetime calling...
Also TS, the app is for the 3GS not the 3G, so I don't get why are you mad w/ differences of opinion on the iPhone 3G incompatibility, it has nothing to do w/ the islam developers or the app itself since they only made this for the 3GS... It's a forum so people are going to bring their points on subject matter that could be applied to the OP in question...

I don't mean to be disrespectful to the developers here. Any free work for the benefit of the community is well deserving of gratitude and praise in my book. Even so, I still find it hard to wrap my head around the concept of facetime with no front facing camera... let alone on a 3G... I have an iPhone 4 and I used facetime ONCE. It was with the Apple rep the second day I got the phone.
All my friends got iPhone 4s, but we just never feel like it's practical...Ha, it worked. You are right, I figured it out. I facetimed my email instead of my cell number. Very nice.

Why? FaceTime was first on the iPhone and people have been working on a port of it for the 3GS since it basically came out, while the FT mac is still in beta...
