facetime and multitasking / gestures

I've noticed two issues with facetime:

1. when I facetime and mutlitask like go through email or even play a game or something like taht-- when i try going back to facetime, I only see my own face..the normal facetime screen is not there. Is this a known issue?

2. When I facetime and multitask (but maybe this occurs in other instances too) then the multitouch gestures I enabled with XCode don't work..until I double click the home button to get the multitasking bar and then the gestures work again...does anyone else have this issue?
