So my daughter 3GS is jailbroke with mywi.
Just thought I would try connecting through her mywi and use FaceTime to talk to my wife on her 4 while at store. It works flawlessly!! My entire family has iPhone 4 so this might come in handy.

    Anyone else try this

Once they jailbreak the iPhone 4, we'll be able to use the 3G Unrestrictor app to trick the iPhone into thinking its on a WiFi connection and should be able to use FaceTime everywhere.

Yeah I tried it yesterday and I was surprised it worked well.

Another thing that's worth mentioning is that you were using mywi on a 3GS, the new iPhone 4 has a better modem that uploads faster too, so FaceTime will even be better on a jailbroken iPhone 4.

Let's not forget with that whole privacy thing with apple, where they can tell if your iPhone is jailbroken on iOS4. That is, of course, if it's true.....
