FaceTime audio or video drops Wi-Fi ?

Recently noticed on my 16PM WiFi connection disappearing and showing LTE or 5G when using FaceTime audio or video from my home WiFi access point. But when I pull down the top right corner it shows WiFi connectivity? Bug in 18.3.1 perhaps or something else? Thanks.
