I have an AppleTV 4K connected to an LG OLED tv. Also have two second generation HomePods connected in stereo pair as the default audio. AppleTV and HomePods are up to date as well as both the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the iPad Pro 13" M4. Whenever I try to use either device to make a FaceTime call and then hand it off to the AppleTV, I get no volume on my end. The picture works fine, and the person I'm FaceTiming with can hear me with no issue. I cannot hear any audio from them at all. I've tried adjusting the volume on the iPhone and the AppleTV remote. Neither does anything. I've also tried initiating the FaceTime call from the TV and selecting each device as the continuity device to no avail. Has anyone encountered this issue and had any success resolving it?

I've just started to experience similar issues since upgrading from an iPhone 14PM to 16PM. My setup sounds pretty close to yours. LG OLED TV, AppleTV 4K, and 2 First gen Homepods. Have you had any luck in figuring our your problem?
