I have an iPhone 4 on 6.0.1. I have not been able to make a Facetime call yet. When I try to make one it opens the camera then right away says, "Connection Lost"

I've tried calling different people, all my settings seem to be correct and none of the apple guides helped.

Stupid question (I am not assuming this is the case, just simply covering the basics), but the people you are attempting to FaceTime have iPhones and have Facetime enabled, correct?

First make sure the people you are calling are using iOS devices and have FaceTime enabled. The iPhone 4 can only FaceTime when it is connected to wifi. These are the prerequisite.

Make sure you have that. "Connection lost" error sounded to me as bad Internet connectivity. So check your wifi speed.

If you have any sort of firewall on your Internet, make sure the appropriate ports are opened. See this.
