FaceTime Etiquette

Why the hell would we need to establish etiquette for FaceTime on a forum (especially since none of us are likely to FaceTime each other)?

No one had to teach you etiquette for a normal phone call.

Am I the only one who thinks the OP was starting the thread in a joking manner? Seems people are taking this WAY too literally / seriously. Chill out.

BTW, I'm not sure a reminder wouldn't hurt given how many people I hear answer the phone while in the office bathrooms or continue flapping their jaws in a checkout line instead of paying attention to the cashier. Phone etiquette has definitely gone downhill in recent years.
 
The one thing that should really be banned is doing facetime while Driving :eek:

Unfortunately I see that coming.....
 
what about Forum etiquette? the only thing i seem to dislike about the iPhone (4) is the inadvertent newbies that flood these forums with nonsense suchas in this thread.


But to be honest, i dont really see a difference between iPhone FaceTime and MacBook/Pros & iMacs iChat/iSight video conferencing....

I'm gonna start "vitual" (ie....FT) teabagging every poor bastard I call. "Turn your front camera on", "BAM...apple bag on the forehead".

I just enjoy how some people get all pissy over a thread as if they own this site or something. People should post MORE. Way more.
