FaceTime for Mac - at last!

We use facebook connect so we can retrieve your friends list and so you can show them your status on FaceTime. You can login with and not share your facetime email or phone number.


I understand your concern. I'm just an independent developer who made a tool to help me find my friends on facebook with facetime. I just thought i'd share it with everyone. Any suggestions on how to make it less of a concern?
 
I tried connecting from a 17" MBP i7 processor to an iP4. Worked great.

At first I thought that the resolution from the MBP was higher but I checked more carefully and I guess they are the same. The picture from the MBP seems sharper. Part of the problem is that as the iPhone moves around the picture becomes blurred till you hold it steady.

This is about the same field of view as iChat. Slightly narrower than iChat.

According to Activity Monitor it takes about 30-40% of CPU time, 82MB or so of memory and registers as a 64 bit Intel application. This is on the Intel i7 2.66GHz CPU.
