Why doesn't the iPhone have a FaceTime icon like the iPod touch does? Is there a way to get one? I know how to use it but I would just like to have an icon on my homepage. My iPhone is not jailbroken and I don't want to jailbreak it.

No, but if you go to a persons contact in your Contacts, there should be a FaceTime button. The iPod touch has an icon because it doesn't have a Phone app where it can call people directly without using the Phone app. You can also click the FaceTime button when on a call with someone.

I think there is no way to have one in your home screen!Even if there is a way it would be only if your device is jailbroken but I think there isn't a tweak for that

Because the iPhone doesn't need one. If you can just launch it from a call or your contacts list, then why have a separate app for it? Apple's not like Facebook (who released a new app just for messaging)

If it makes you feel better, there will be a Facetime icon in the Settings menu when iOS 5 comes out.
