Facetime is not working on iOS 4.1 Jailbreak

If you go into settings-->phone it says under the facetime slider that it is 'waiting for activation'

Has anyone had any luck resolving this?

Extensive Mroogle and google showed nothing for me.

Hard to get the right webpages and jailbreak, facetime and ios 4.1 are such common web themes....

I just went to look at mine - it was set to off. Turned it on, and the 'waiting for activation' showed for about 5 seconds before it was enabled. I assume you've tried switching it off, rebooting and switching it on?

If you're on a supported carrier go to settings and "reset all settings" then turn FT back on.

I had exactly the same problem on Telus network before.

Hmmmm no luck. Is it because I am on a hacktivated iPhone?

@ Cydia: go to Manage>Sources> Edit> Add
Add source: http://cydia.pushfix.info
Look in it for "Carrier Reset Fix", install it, take out the SIM card, reboot and then insert it once more. Then go to Settings> Phone> FaceTime and do your thing.

Noticed that you've said in other threads that this is the answer...it isn't. Hasn't worked on my phone. Perhaps because it is hacktivated?
