Weird thing going on.

My parents tried to FaceTime me. On my end, it rang twice and then dropped. On their end, it connected to some idiots.

Now the idiots are harassing my parents by trying to make FaceTime calls from my number. Since my parents think that I was calling, they would answer.

I had them block my number for the evening, but this is not a longtime solution.

Anyone have any idea?

Thanks in advance!

How can they make it look like it's from your number? Doesn't FaceTime activate and add the number that's associated to the phone? Not sure how they could have your number associated with their phone (and if they do it seems like there would be even bigger issues at play here as they would be getting your calls and texts and all that).

I have no idea. Apple is calling me today to help sort it out.

Could just be a temporary issue.
