I just purchased an iPad-3 WiFi + 3g version from a store here. The pad is only 2 months used and I got a good deal.

My problem is associated with the Facetime app.

I did a full reset of the ipad but somehow the old id of the previous user isn't getting deleted. I cannot switch on the Facetime app without the previous users password (which I don't know), and also cannot change the email associated with it. Whenever I switch facetime on it asks for the password with the previous users email already written on it.

I have browsed the net but am not able to get any workarounds or solutions for this.

The previous user cannot be contacted too.

Please share your opinions !

Cheers !

:cool:Found a solution !!!

I was trying to reset the ipad, but the trick which worked for me was, erase all content and settings.

(it erased the full settings of previous user)

and now I can use it as a new ipad customising to my preferences, mails and ids.

Regards and Cheers !!
