FaceTime on iOS 15 Alerts You If You Try to Talk While Muted

Sorry, I don't use FaceTime. Is that a normal part of the interface?

That black oval is clearly there to cover the photo and name of the user.
How can anyone think, that's part of the interface?

You don’t measure the rate of change of application A by using a temporal denominator for application B

Pretty standard convention to compare apps against their peers. FaceTime is a good app but it definitely is well behind when it comes to dedicated chat apps like zoom. That is probably fine with apple, I’m sure if getting corporate contracts like what zoom is doing was a priority they would invest the resources to make face time competitive. They won’t as it will likely go against their strategy of locking people into their ecosystem.

Very nice feature. It also needs a special banner alert to quickly silence the mic before the dumb thing you said goes live. lol

There’s a proximity sensor? How? I’ve never once done that with any phone with that sensor

May sound like a silly feature, but i cant count the number of times i had to act like a traffic cop with hand waving.

This seems to fix. Bravo Apple, for doing something others rather not do.
