Resolved FaceTime on IPP better than iPhone

I usually FT with my daughter on my phone or iMac. Yesterday I happened to be using the IPP 11" when she called. She remarked on how much clearer the picture was. She felt like I was sitting at the other end of the sofa. I noticed a huge difference as well and wondered if we are the only ones.

I have the Xs and so does she. Could it be because of the screen size?

Maybe. I have used both my 11 and MAX for my weekly FT with my brother, found the phone was more easy due to its form factor. Both cameras are lower in resolution to reduce the bandwidth needed for FT.
