Does anybody know if it would be possible to develop a computer application that uses the FaceTime standard? If I remember correctly, Steve pointed out that it'll be an open standard - but would it technically be possible for 3rd party developers to use the standard for computer apps?

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

I want to be able to FaceTime chat with someone on their computer with them using skype or gmail.

I hope that is in the works.

It would be REALLY nice if that were possible.... I don't believed they have released it yet though so I don't think anyone really knows what will be possible yet.
