FaceTime Over 3G: Anyone Tried it?

I'm thinking about getting 3G Unrestrictor.
How's the quality of FaceTime over 3G?
Should I get "My3G" instead, or Unrestrictor?
 
I tried both and stuck with 3G Unrestrictor. The quality is surprisingly good but not as good as wifi. There seems to be a slight lag and you will get occasional freezes but that being said it is still pretty impressive and better then skype from my experience.

3g unrestrictor here too! +1. works great!
 
3G Unrestrictor. The dev is a good friend of mine and doesn't require ****** Rock to be installed.

+1 I avoid that Rock crap at all costs. Given me enough troubles before. Now that I hear about the lack of support at that company it's all the more reason to avoid this take the money and run business.
 
I tried My3G just for the heck of it. it was cool to not be on wifi and anywhere near a building of sorts and FaceTime, but I saw not much need for it at this point to pay for either hack.
 
Anyone seeing the one minute disconnect problem when one phone is on wifi and one is on 3G?
 
I experience the one minute disconnect repeatedly when either OR both parties are on WiFi. Haven't tried 3G to 3G.
 
i tried facetime with my brother 3g to 3g

it was a sad experience

the video was very pixalated and the audio was not recognizable

Why is everyone so against Rock?
I know this may be a noobish question, but I find no trouble with it...
 
One minute disconnect here too...everytime. Subsequent calls usually stay connected though. I hope theres a fix in the works!

I've had no problems with it, also, and I've been using it since May. From what I've read it all seems to stem from some pissing match between Rock and Cydia. Who cares, whatever works for you.
