Facetime post 4.1?

    maybe I am asking a stupid question, but is facetime going to be free with the facetime app on 4.1? I have searched and i am not being lazy. cheers.

    It's not an app, it's built into the OS. So, yes.

    yes i know, but it is going to be an app on 4.1 when it is released.

    the image works fine for me?

    anyway its on the apple website. I dont mean is the app for free, i mean will we have to pay to make facetime calls like we do now? thanks

    itll probly ship with the 4.1 ipod touch build for newest itouches only like phone is on the iphone and not ipods

    Facetime calls do not cost any money. They are conducted over wi-fi, which is free. Once again it does not cost any money to make a FaceTime call.

    right, i thought it did i havnt made any in a while but with my girlfriend getting an iphone i thought i would ask, thanks anyway.

    There is no FaceTime app in 4.1 on the iPhone. It's just because there isn't a Phone app.
