I don't use facetime a lot but noticed the few times I've used it lately the picture of the person I'm speaking with comes over horizontal instead of verticle. Is this a known issue with IOS8.02?

I have iphone 6, wife 6+, daughter iphone 5 and son ipad 5th generation..all of us have experienced the same thing though not every time..hit or miss..

That's because of the way the person you are Facetiming with is holding their phone. FaceTime is designed for portrait mode, when one holds the phone in Landscape, the picture shows to the other party rotated 90 degrees
