Hi everyone,
I have an 13" MBP from 2016 and every time I take a Facetime call I'm forced to use headphones because the computer speakers are too low. This seems to happen across facetime audio and phone calls. Does anyone know a fix for this? I'm pumping the volume to the max but it's still not enough.

Is this with different people? There's no unique settings to FaceTime with regards to audio, so possibly other person thumbing the mic.

Other things to try are simply making the call from a fresh restart (Not saved state), could be some other audio programme in the background. Could be noises in the room effecting noise cancelation. Could be a case over your computer interfering with mic/speakers. Could be any number of things... Least likely is the computer itself.

Yeah that's the strangest thing. It happens with everyone and I pause iTunes when I get a call. I don't think it's something in the room since a 2011 Macbook Pro didn't have this problem at all. I don't have a case, but I do use a keyboard protector.

Also, this has been an issue for a few months and I've done complete restarts and the problem is pretty consistent.

Does it happen across other apps, like Skype? I had a 2010 MBP that had this issue and I'm pretty sure it was a hardware problem because this was the case. My 2016 is fine.

i still getting this MacBook pro late 2012, old MacBook but still latest OS and updates, its done it since ive had the mac
