I see such basic cases coming up as new threads almost every other day. You really think a company like Apple will not have thought about such obvious issues?!
Yes!
Looking forward to; "You are holding it wrong 2.0".
That was NOT an obvious issue. Only a certain batch of people got impacted the most.
And even if something like that happens, there's no chance in hell anybody can predict it before a mass release.
A certain batch? 21 million people were affected and that is not a small number.
It was blown way out of proportion. I had a couple of iPhone 4 devices and on both you had literally try and hold it specifically to make the signal go down. Either way, that wasn't an obvious use case under test scenarios. Real life usage will always differ from rest scenarios.
Ira Rothken, a lead attorney in the case, said more than 21 million iPhone 4 owners were eligible for the payout.

Yeah that's an American thing about class action suits for any damn thing. The rest of the world survived just fine.
Aha..
So the rest of the world, according to you, received iPhone 4 with out antenna issues? Interesting. Apple just hates American people i guess....who knew.
I think he's suggesting that Americans blew it out of proportion and exaggerated the extent of the problem.
MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!!!! GIMME GIMME!.
As an American I thought I'd help explain the exaggeration.
I wonder how many Americans were able to buy a house with a $2 bummer they received for free. Hmm..
Other countries have better consumer protection laws, which help resolve such issues with out the need for a lawsuit.

I wonder if you'll be able to program other parts of your body for access?
I guess you just pointed out where the real flaw lies.
Since no touch ID, wonder if facial recognition will still be able to work in the dark.
Yeah, I have received a total of $6 in lawsuits over the last 5 years (didn't even know I was affected till I got a check in the mail). It is ... incredibly insulting to get a check for $1.87 from Capital One, $2 check from ... I forget who... lol. It's going to cost me more in gas to drive this to the bank. At least now I can deposit it with the bank app on my phone, lol.
When you point the TV remote at the TV in the dark to change channel, does it work?Since no touch ID, wonder if facial recognition will still be able to work in the dark.
